Poured finest Seeley Porcelain in Aztec Tan color and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer

The skin tone is truly Flawless as her Awards may indicate. Ethnic coloring is extremely difficult to do as the brown paint does not fire out evenly unless perfectly applied.

She has applied ears and wears earrings of deep red faceted glass beads.

This doll features the very finest French Paperweight hand blown solid glass eyes in medium brown that have lovely threading that is not showing up as well in the photos as when you see the doll in front of you.

Her gorgeous skin wig was made by Emily Hart

Extra Fine Painting

She is on a Seeley FB16J body that has been carefully hand painted with several layers by Emily Hart

Her costume pattern was completely drafted out by Emily Hart to resemble an Antique costume and made with several different pure silk fabrics. The bonnet is wired and made with a jacquard woven silk, very fine Reproduction cotton laces made in France, and with lavish rosettes at each side made from very fine Chinese silk crepe with pure silk satin ties.

The main fabric in the jacket is pure Dupionni Silk in ecru color with tiny piping and accents in the Chinese crepe silk of maroon color. The entire inside of the jacket is as finished as the outside and is made with pure silk satin and Dupionni silk with Emily's own label sewn inside.

The front plastron features a very beautiful genuine Antique button that has a center of carved Mother of Pearl with brass frame and genuine Antique netting and lace.. She also has four tiny round genuine Antique buttons on the jacket flaps as well as she wears a Bebe Pin.

The undergarments on this doll have a great deal of hand sewing on them though it is hard to see in the photos. The Chemise features Antique shell buttons and hand made buttonholes at the shoulders. The bloomers feature a separate waistband and buttons with handmade buttonholes at each side. The petticoat features complete buttoned back opening all with carefully hand stitched buttonholes made by Emily.

These socks where hand knitted with the very finest tiny needles no thicker than a toothpick and they are made from pure silk yarn.

Emily made the shoes from Maroon color leather to match the outfit and added lovely buckles to them.

The finished doll is 21 inches tall and 23 inches to the top of the bonnet bows.
