Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking, in 2025 now celebrates 35 years in Dollmaking, specializing in the Reproduction of the rarest French Bebe dolls.

Emily presents: French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll. This is known as an A-series Steiner originally made by Jules Nicolas Steiner from the 1880's into the 1900's.

EXTRA FINE PAINTING, done in February of 2023 absolutely FLAWLESS

Poured in "Azure White" Bell porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer

The skin tone is very lovely and ultra pale and with eye shadow and rosy cheeks

Eyes are the ultimate in quality French solid glass paperweight by Hand Glass Craft of England in “Hazel” color

She wears necklace, earrings and matching bracelet of genuine Aventurine stone beads.

Her wig is finest New Zealand mohair in Rich Brown color featuring center part, bangs and soft curls.

She is on an Authentic French reproduction composition body handmade by Jim Vickerman and painted in latex paint. Although her body features bru style lower arms, it is an authentic French Bebe style body.

Lovely ONE OF A KIND French style Bébé costume is entirely made from silk velvet with genuine Antique laces, and lined in pure silk jacquard woven fabric. The matching hat is also silk velvet.

Undergarments are full petticoat and bloomers made finest Cambridge cotton by Kaufman and trimmed with fine French laces.

Dress, hat and petticoat all bear Emily’s hand-woven labels.

Socks are hand knitted silk/rayon and shoes are in finest genuine leather made in Italy.

This doll stands 26.5 inches without the hat.
