Presenting.. French Bebe Antique Reproduction doll originally made by Danel & Cie, from 1891 but was later made by Jumeau up to and after the turn of the century.

This doll was painted in 2011... my latest and finest painting... She is just breathtaking!
Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer
The skin tone is very desirable ultra pale and with eye shadow.
The Bébé Francais has very long thin close together eyelashes .... very hard to paint

The head features the incredible eyes that only HAND GLASS OF ENGLAND makes... color extra light blue

This ONE OF A KIND, costume by Mary Lambeth is made with Vintage sheer crepe rayon fabric with exquisite genuine Antique laces and Antique netting & lace overlay. This dress is a striking design with large collar and accented with pure silk bows. The ruched matching bonnet features a delicate brim edge of fine lace and pure silk satin bows and flowers handmade by Mary.
Included are bloomers and half slip of pure cotton, hand knitted silk/rayon socks and silk French style shoes made to match the outfit.
This doll is 2l.5 inches (54,5 cm) and 22.5 inches (57 cm) with the bonnet.
