OFFERED AT MY COST TO MAKE HER

Many of you may have heard me say over the years that I have at least 200 dolls partly made all over my Studio, many carefully wrapped and stored away.

I have these good intentions to finish them, but then I start something new and drawer after drawer is filled with partly made dolls… At age 72, I realize I am unable to finish everything in this lifetime, so I am now offering some dolls READY TO DRESS, and others will be only partly made, so that I can concentrate on finishing up the Antique Reproduction dolls with costumes.

The head was made from the “Renee” mold originally sculpted by Laura Cobabe, but the shoulderplate, arms and legs are from Jane Zidjunas’ “Kallie” & “Elise” body molds.

I wanted to give her a distinctive look, so I added some freckles and gave her a darling “up-do” acrylic wig…Her fingernails and toenails have a bit of color.

She is poured in Seeley’s “French Bisque” porcelain with wonderful china painting in many layers with firings in between. She was painted years ago and her body parts stored away, so now I made her body & put her together.

She has beautiful solid glass French Paperweight eyes in Brown color and both painted and glued on eyelashes.

Her body is strong 100% cotton muslin, and arms have wire armature inside so they can be slightly bent at the elbows. Her hips and knees are fully articulated.

I used Genuine Swarovski crystals for her earrings and necklace.

She stands 24 inches.
