Also included in this listing is the dress and bonnet shown. Completed on November 1st 2016, this costume was made by me, Emily Hart. I drafted out the pattern myself to fit this body. The fabric is pale blue pure silk Shantung (this has a tighter weave and less pronounced slub than Dupioni Silk).
I have used a combination of very fine Reproduction cotton French laces and Genuine Antique laces (collar and cascading front lace that is backed by pure silk satin ribbon in pink & the double lace ruffle in back of the skirt.
Both the dress and the bonnet are lined in the same pure silk fabric.
The bonnet brim is gathered and keeps it’s shape with a Milliner’s wire inserted into a slot in the brim.
Both the dress and bonnet bear my own label inside.
