French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll. This is known as an A-series Steiner originally made by Jules Nicolas Steiner from the 1880's into the 1900's.
EXTRA FINE PAINTING done in November of 2010 Absolutely FLAWLESS
Poured in "Magnolia white" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer
The skin tone is very lovely and ultra pale and with eye shadow and rosy cheeks
Eyes are the ultimate in quality French solid glass paperweight by Hand Glass Craft of England in light blue color
She wears earrings and matching necklace made with genuine turquoise stone beads as most Steiner Antique dolls wore
Her wig is finest mohair in rich auburn color featuring center part, wispy bangs and soft curls.
She is on an Authentic French reproduction composition body with lower arms in porcelain by Emily made to match her fine porcelain head.
This lovely ONE OF A KIND costume features pale peach colored satin dress with pure silk taffeta in soft turquoise with matching bonnet, embellished with the very most exquisite and dainty Genuine Antique laces.
Antique laces and hand made pure silk flowers adorn the dress front and bonnet as well as a lovely Vintage feather accent on the bonnet.
This is a Mary Lambeth costume with 100% cotton undergarments of bloomers and half slip. The socks are hand knitted silk/rayon, and shoes are matching silk taffeta to the dress.
This doll stands 17.5 inches and 21 inches including the bonnet.
