#41 A. Marque Royal boy

Newly offered at auction by Theriault's is this Royal boy that appears to have the same costume as the one from Francois Theimer's book that I have labeled #13, and shown together with another Royal boy. I have the Theimer book in front of me and can compare the two dolls. The Theimer doll has an extra jewel in the front of the costume and different shoes and wig, so I am certain it is not the same doll, however they came from the same place, the Winter Haven Florida Museum of old Toys and dolls... I think the costume may have been changed to the doll in the photo I have labeled #12, and different shoes put on the doll.
