French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll UNDRESSED originally made by the firm of Bru circa 1885

Marked Bru jne 6, this is a small size a bit larger than some Milettes, standing 11.5 inches.

Head circumference 7 inches.

This particular Bru has subtle distinctive modeling that gives her a certain very appealing “presence”.

Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer.

Painted in May of 2022

The skin tone is very lovely and pale, eye shadow and deep rosy cheek color.

She wears earrings of genuine Swarovski glass pearls.

This doll UNDRESSED features the finest Authentic Reproduction hand blown glass eyes made by Hand Glass Craft of England, in “Light Blue” color.

Please note the amazing threading and incredible color of these eyes, all photos taken in natural daylight.

This doll features finest Australian Mohair wig with high luster in Pale golden blonde color with center part and long soft curls.

All wigs can be cut and re-styled as you may wish to do yourself.

Please note: I do not glue wigs on any of my dolls or heads unless requested as it is much easier to remove the wig so it won’t be messed up while fitting a costume or dressing a doll.

This head is on a fine composition 8.5 inch French Bebe body with Bru lower arms.

She comes with hand-knitted silk/rayon socks and genuine leather French style shoes.
